A teenage girl sent vile messages to a “friend” who had annoyed her, threatening to throw acid in the woman's face.

Blackburn Magistrates' Court heard Angel Moor told the 20-year-old victim she would also throw boiling water with sugar in her face and burn her house down.

She also said she would get the other woman’s children taken off her and slash her car tyres.

Moor, 18, of Isherwood Street, Blackburn, admitted to sending a communication threatening death or serious harm.

She was bailed for a pre-sentence report to be prepared.

Deputy District Judge Laura Nash said she was worried the threats were so specific.

“They targeted the victim’s appearance, her children and her property,” said Deputy District Judge Nash.

“The fact you sent these nasty messages causes me concern about what is going on in your head.”

Nicola Mills, prosecuting, said on the night of the offence the victim had sent some messages to Moor which had annoyed her.

“She retaliated by sending numerous malicious and threatening voice recordings to the victim who lived nearby,” said Miss Mills.

“The victim contacted the police because she believed the threats could have been carried out. She was genuinely concerned.”

When interviewed Moor admitted sending threatening voice notes but said she had no intention of carrying out the threats.

She will be sentenced at a later date.
